Hairy Sink

It is inevitable. Children cut their own hair. My first haircut was done by Eric Smallwood a week before my kindergarten pictures.

Sister has decided that we are mo longer growing out our bangs...they were in her way. She left this in my sink for me!

And I think it was from the right side. You can't really tell (yeah)!

What can I say? She I just like me! (scared?)

Haircutting and praising him for who He always is!

Supporting My Adventure

After a year of running my hiney off and working so hard, I was feeling pretty defeated. Now I wasn't running any marathons but there was definite effort there and my body refused to have any energy or let go of that fat we had been caring for and supporting for years!

Enough is enough. After dad was put on hospice in August I decided that I didn't want my story to be the same as his! 56 is too young to be on hospice and I decided I needed to make some changes.

I had a conference for work and came back feeling a little lighter even though we were fed well and I read (Twilight) instead of finding a gym. The biggest difference was my diet.

Well that's the motivation I needed to seek out a way to feel that good in my skin all the time.

After just one month i lost 10 pounds and 10 inches. Now I am down 15 pounds and 15 inches. I watch what I eat and have energy to exercise! I have invested in my body's future and my family's. I am about to start another round and am looking for people to join me.

I want to tell the world about it and share this great feeling with my fiends and family!

I am going to begin really focusing on providing more for our family including joy!

AdvoCare has been great for me!

The opportunity to feel so good and have freedom from the debt the we drown in is appealing to me.

Praising Him for who he is and excited for what He has in store!

The Weekend Ahead

We made it to Gladewater. We are here and already telling fun stories. I always have so much fun out here at mom and dad's house.

My brother is getting married tomorrow. It is the event of the season and just another example of how much we are blessed!

Dad has been move to the hospice facility for the weekend so that he can rest and get as much attention as he needs.

Cousins are coming and friends of the family. The kids are already running around lime crazy.

A new season in our lives. We are adding a girl...Katie. And we are so very excited.

I thought I would try to blog as the events unfold to share with those that couldn't make it.

We'll see if I follow through with that!
